I know that a lotta folks have difficulty with hands and feet. The best advice I can give is to stare at photo references. Cut them apart into segments and try to see the underlying bones. Pianist hands and dancers' feet will give you very well-defined fingers and toes, BUT you mustn't neglect other body types. Grab your fingers and very gently feel them out, touch your feet. They are fantastic tools, and references that are easier to see than, say, your torso.
