hmm it was just swedish leather hat...

that event is about battle between Poland and Sweaden

but Zamosc never was captured by enemies...its such wonderful keep

Ok, thank you! Been looking for a hat with that style but not found the right century and country so this does help a lot in my quest!

Until now I did not know that Sweden and Poland ever had a war. World history is a very brief overview in our schools and even college classes. I will read up on it, very interesting!

we had few wars with each other. but the most important war between Poland and Sweden is called "Potop" (the deluge)

there was even movie made about it called Potop (good historical movie made [it recived nomitnation to oscar but it didnt won)

the most important part of that war is sige of Monastyr of Jasna Góra (the most holly place in Poland)
