Don’t get me wrong, I love my yello puppet son to absolute death, but oh dear Malcom do I despise of his design.

He looks like a potato and a pot of play dough got freaky and the doctor who delivered him accidentally dropped him out the window.

The way his mouth moves is so uncanny I have trouble looking directly at him whenever he’s on screen. I am legitimately so scared of his original design that I can’t watch the first episode anymore.

Don’t get me wrong, he’s my absolute favourite thing about this entire series (and easily in my top five favourite characters to exist. He shares 2nd place with Morty since Hypno / Custard definitely takes first place lmao)

But to keep myself sane, I’m working on attempting to “””fix”””” his design only so I don’t die of a blocked artery. Yes, that includes giving him an undershirt.

And ho boy am I happy that I left the internet to work on myself for a few years. I didn’t realise how goofy my art was back then until I came face to face with my past sins.

I know this is pretty hypocritical of me since I drew him with those weird lines on his mouth too back in the day(https://sta.sh/0i800yuvd9e)

But the rage I feel whenever I see folks draw him with those lines is absolutely ridiculous.

Not to mention one of the more popular artists in the community draws him with them so prominate that they look like scars and he’s two seconds away from telling me how exactly he got them.

Anywhom, that’s my rant over and done with before I get too heated about a literal puppet on the interwebz.
