Modeled after a Fly agaric, I built this beauty over the summer for Halloween decorations. Roughly 2 meters tall it had a metal frame skeleton on which fabric was stretched, the foam shell being built upon that layer of skin. The materiel was roughly 4 inches thick once cut into shape, the stem being hollow on the inside to allow the wiring of lights through the base and to be hidden in the cap section. We get some nasty winds and fall weather here, so the entire thing was extremely resistant the elements, the metal frame itself stuck out the bottom as 2 foot long spikes to stick into the ground, then stones placed around it for a little extra oomph. Was only one part of the hallows-eve display this year but really stood out due to it's size and green glow.
