For the YCH this month I decided to draw inspiration from one of my favorite movies to watch this time of year, A Christmas Carol (I'm partial to the Jim Carrey version), and illustrate the three ghosts that visit Scrooge.

Starting of course is the Ghost of Christmas Past, who arrives when the clock strikes 1am. She is described as an ephemeral being, with a bright clear light shining from the top of her head. Under her arm she carries an extinguisher that can be worn as a cap (though for mine I made it a staff instead). In her other hand a branch of holly, the symbol of winter, while her robe is trimmed with summer flowers, symbolizing that she is at once both old and young.

These will of course be my own interpretations of what is described in the story, to best fit with my style and theme. :)
