well....let's see here. This is a guy who has been in my head for AGES...like since I was in elementary school >_> (little odd I guess). I've tried to draw him over and over and over again, but I'm almost always unhappy with the end result. It never "looks like him"...if that makes sense. I drew this a few months ago I guess. I actually really like it (except for my crap coloring job :C)
He's something like an incubus...only a little different. Once he "does his deed" he is permanently bonded to that other being. The tattoo around his neck is something like a binding seal than forces his cooperation with bond. He is physically unable to be away from his soul bond...if he strays he will die (he's essentially immortal except for the destruction the "collar" can cause him-he would be decapitated). He can appear human and in that form the seal in not visible to anyone but other demons. I chose to make him look a little vulnerable in the pic...I guess because I can >:3 BTW ...he's straight. I hope maybe one day I can commission or trade with someone who can draw the human body and get a sexy pin-up of him <3 <3 <3 *drool* ^_^'

Art aside, I actually like that concept of bonding. It is an unusual step away from the normal association of Incubi, and the 'personal lore' is always a great basis for stories worth remembering. Never mind sneaking a pin-up from someone, you aught to think about writing a short story to add flavour-text to the lingering concept you have!

I'm exactly the same way, but I guess thats the beauty of running over it a few times before uploading. It is my single most chronically recurring weakness, both in art and in writing. I 'ramble', I take too long, and i'm also too picky about details. In writing it causes me to become long-winded and too padded with unimportant fluff, and in art it causes me to take ten times the time it should have. Buuut I guess it isn't too bad. Think about trying it sometime! ^^
Interesting character concept, the binding seal on his neck plays against him against his nature. This must make him very discriminating, or eternally starving and irritable. Of course, how he handles this seal also depends on how long the bond lasts; is it "'til death do us part" or "forever and ever, even beyond death"?
Thanks . He is rather moody and has a sometimes insatiable appetite, though the binding seal also dampens much of his instinctual drive. The bond lasts as long as both parties are alive-though his partner is also an immortal, so he's in it for the long haul. Another interesting this with his seal is that is leads him to some one who is essentially his soul mate or soul bond, so it's not usually a bad match. He is part of a long line of demons that all have this "curse". His partner is a handful and a half herself and gives him as much trouble, if not more than he can dish out-I'll have to draw her eventually.
