Oopsie sorry.
It's cause it annoys me to no end when cartoons [or films] have protagonists suffer concussion after concussion and they're always fine shortly after, blunt force trauma is no joke. Yet they all take stabbing seriously despite not taking the other, it just doesn't seem fair imo.
I chose to take neither seriosuly.

Blunt force trauma is just as lethal really as stabbing so should be treated the same really. Though in more G-rated media or cartoons you don't always see any blood or signs of wounds when someone gets stabbed so fits in here.
Though I suppose it's possible the Ikai'ap could be an exohero himself, maybe with a healing factor of some sort and undifferentiated internal organs and no blood. He's never gotten impaled like that before though so the shock made him faint.
In any case, at least Night Skull avenged herself and the thug is out for the count.

I think that fits well really with the action and excitement with the setting, so just means we can relax and enjoy the battles and that while there might be a lot of property damage and people getting knocked around there's not going to be all that carnage and bloodshed.
It's the best of both worlds really, since we've got the exploration of emotions and rich backstories of the characters and worlds as well as the cartoony/comicbook type battles to enjoy.
