My friend Micheal Danaher surprised me with an early "Birthday Present" and created a striking likeness of my character Melissa Pendragon, (AKA "Millie Mink") as she appears in the "Seaside Millie" print I colored earlier in the year. The sculpture was crafted from Super Sculpey over a wire armature, baked, then painted with acrylics. Michael even figured out some of the subtle nuances that make the character work in 2-D, and translated them into 3-D.

I'm gonna go out on a limb here. My friend who made this resides with a very talented sculptress who's been looking for projects to do in between Cons. Do you have a "Turnaroud" sheet showing your character in detail? (And don't forget in proper colours too.) I can ask her if she'd want to take on the project.
Well, honestly about all I have is a half-assed pencil model sheet, not a turnaround. What I DO have is my character fully digitized in Second Life so I can view him at any angle. Here's a few examples.

I'm mostly just looking for contacts on people who might be willing to take on the project - and who might be able to give me an idea of how much it would cost.

You're probably seeing my horns. They emerge on the back/top of my head, and are the configuration of horns that are the trademark of Glaciermaw ice dragons.
The last view is just another front view in another outfit. But now that you mention it, there's now a BETTER model sheet my mate herself did!
