Bio: Having lived on the move his whole life, Merian finds himself adept as an adventuring explorer, having seen a vast amount of the oceans, and met many people and pokémon. This has also taught him to act swiftly when needed, as many have attempted to capture him in various ways without luck. In a few cases been mistaken of the situation, and acting too quickly, which he tries not to. Arriving at Pacific Island one day, his first meeting with Calderin and Clera has him intervene in their practice battle, believing it to be real. Though still being quite adventurous and going out to explorer, he has returned again and again to the island, the first time a place really felt like a home.

Dex: Amphras, the Transport Pokémon, and a hybrid of Ampharos and Lapras. A smart and kindhearted Pokémon, it glides across the surface of the sea while its enchanting cry echoes around it, not minding swimming around with people and Pokémon on its back. In the dark, the light from its bright tail can be seen from far away on the ocean's surface.
