Born on the same day as Spyro, Toruzo would have a friendly spar with the purple dragon during his free time. Of course, that all changed when Gnasty Gnorc turned the dragon elders into crystal statues, prompting Spyro to team up with Toruzo and his other two clutch mates, Izarugi and Astria, to free the elders and defeat Gnasty.
In the end, Spyro would go on and defeat Gnasty and reclaim the Dragon Kingdom's treasure, while Toruzo, Izarugi and Astria travel to Animaltopia, where they were recruited by Kinshra Talbain to join Team Star Rush.
