Lotsa nice detail tho he looks a tad sad

The face pics show more of the details, as its like a "close-up" pic. He actually has a smile, and shouldn't be sad. :)

I prefer to think of it as "introspective." :)

These portraits you do are as compelling as anything I've seen. You capture something and I can't figure out exactly what it is but, well, that's art!

You know that old line about anylizing comedy? Well, the same thing applies to art. That is: "It's like disecting a frog: you can do it but the frog tends to die in the process."
I think what's "compelling", about the way you render characters is that you're able to sublimely integrate a lot of subtle details of color and expression that give the characters "depth", both in the way they're rendered and the sense of personality they have. (you don't mind if I'm a little jealous of all this do ya?!)

Aww:) Now there's a face that made this morning all better for me:p Great job on the stripes and, you know, the fur details:) And the way you manage to get the eyes really bug me:s (I'm jelous:p)

I'm gonna try to see if i can manage to make eye's like that today... I think i know a way that's not too hard;)
