Photoshop

This is me riding my DragonFable dragon, Garth. The original idea came from a sketch I did after having a dream about fighting plastic tubing as a DragonFable character. I was in Germany at the time. When I got to an internet cafe, I found out that there was a war about to start in the game (the fire war), and the idea changed. After getting home, I was _very_ slow about starting it because I was trying to get everything perfect. Then there was a contest in DragonFable, so I hurried up and finished in a week.

I was in the top 13 entries for the contest. I didn't get my character in the game, but I won some game moneys and got mentioned in the design notes. That's good enough for me :) The last work-in-progress of this is my most popular picture on DA so far, I think, with a whopping 2 +favs! XD
(Edit: they needed more characters than planned so I got in anyway!)

This was intended as a poster, so the photoshop file is really big. (Takes forever to save.) I was going to do the lineart on really big bristol, but I got some practice with Photoshop lineart before starting the lines for this, which gave me enough confidence to just do all photoshop (not counting sketch).

I like how this turned out. I like the body sparkles and the stars very much. Also the rider's face, which probably isn't even visible at web resolution. I wish the fire and smoke had come out better... Oh well. I'll just have to fix it next time.
