Finally got back to working on Pielander. Here's the fifth page. I had to digitally swap out the background in panel 1... I had a better idea after I got the page mostly painted. And, just to fess up, while I was in there with Photoshop, I amped up the fx on panel 2, as well. I darkened up the vignetting and put a touch of photoshop radial blur on the blur lines I had already painted in.
Script—
Panel 1
CONNOR: [thought balloon] Oh, no. I've got a not-so-peaceful, not-so-easy feeling.
CONNOR: [thought balloon] Someone's not here for the cowboys.
Panel 2
CONNOR: [thought balloon] Where the hell are you?
CONNOR: [thought balloon] You know I know you're there. In the stands.
CONNOR: [thought balloon] What game are you playing?
Panel 3-4
CONNOR: [thought balloon] Peek-a-boo. I see you.

Thanks!
Oddly enough, it was the last panel I painted and the one that gave me the most trouble. I started work on this page a while ago and then put it down to work on paying stuff. When I got back to it, the paper texture and absorbency had changed significantly, making it behave unpredictably. I think the paper had dried, or been affected by humid-dry cycles. It made doing crisp edges next to impossible. I'm glad it doesn't show.
