I've been stuck and artblock'd on a larger and more detailed picture I'm trying to do for a few months now, and it's annoying me and I finally went 'rar I just want to draw something darnit' so I did.

As with most of my arts, the mental image got in my head and wouldn't go away until I drew it. As the name suggests it is one part political statement, sure, because the world is a wonderfully diverse place, it's supposed to be, such diversity makes things more beautiful and intricate and stable and special, and deserves to be celebrated. But to that one part political statement, the picture is about three parts 'rainbow stripey paw socks are just awesome and cute and snuggly and comfy and that's all that matters.'

So as a result of all this we have a Doreydragon with rainbow stripey paw socks, collar, pride rings, a comfy leather tail sleeve, and a tail light, because clothing and accessories can be fun and comfy even if you're a quadruped and don't strictly speaking need them. I'd probably be seen in such festive garb at a convention or furmeet or any other event with fun-loving people where I was reasonably sure that dressing like this wouldn't get me lynched by random folk.
