I just happen to love System Shock :D , although this design wasn't based upon anything specific ...
When I think about it I could've been inspired by that crazy manga "Super-Conductive Brains",
where they make big robotic vehicle things out of human bodyparts :P

Really? O.o ... its probably one of the movies that is inspiration to just about all my pics.
Cool little SciFi movie with lots of biomechanoids ...
The cast is quite well known (Jaimie Lee Curtis , Donald Sutherland , William Baldwin)
Though the movie isn't very famous :D
The coolest part is that just about all of the robots are actual remote controlled animatronics instead of CG :)
a-HAH! Someone has uploaded it to youtube , just search "Virus Part 1" and don't mind that there's no subtitles on the russians in the opening , they say nothing of relevance to the story anyway ^^;
You should totally watch it if you have time :3
