Arson had scavenged the entire house looking for a clue on what to get his new found boyfriend for his birthday. He knew he had to make it special, as it was the first time Arson would be around Kicks birthday. He had already taken the day off work, and was ready to give the skunk his gift at lunch. The only problem was what that gift would be. He didn't have much time to decide as it was already 10:45. He then realized who would know what Kicks would want on his birthday (besides kicks obviously.)
Arson knocked on Brixit's door. "Who is it," she asked in a sing song voice. "It's me Arson," he replied. "The only other one in the house." "Come on in then," Brixit said in the same voice. Arson entered the master bedroom and saw the braixen laying on her side on her bed. "What'd you need," she asked in her usual tone of voice. "Well, you know what today is right," the bunny asked. "Tuesday," she answered in a smug sarcastic way. "No! Besides that," he replied annoyed. "It's Kicks birthday and I have no idea what to get him. I was hoping you had some ideas." Brixit thought for a second about what Kicks would like. She told Arson that she had already gotten him a "wipe your paws here" shirt, but for something else he'd like, she was at a loss. Arson thanked her for trying and began heading for the door as Brixit continued to think. "Wait," she shouted to stop Arson. "I know what you could do." Arson turned around as Brixit sat up on her bed with her hands on her lap. "What," he asked curiously. "When Kicks first came out to me, I asked him about his dream boyfriend," the fox reminisced while walking to her wand case. "He said he would absolutely love a cute kangaroo boyfriend who would be sweet and caring for him. You already got the sweet caring and cuteness down, which means," she trailed off grabbing her wand out of it's case. "Your going to turn me into a kangaroo," Arson asked shocked. "Bingo!"
Arson began to pace around the room. "I was just getting used to this bunny body and now you're going to change me again?" "Oh don't worry. It wouldn't be permanent. You could just snap your fingers and poof, you're back to normal," she explained. "So you could change me back into a human right," Arson inquired. "Of course not silly. That would require me wanting you not to be a bunny," she teased as said bunny gave her a "go to hell" glare. "Besides, you'd be under uncle sam's knife if you were the only human on earth, so it's for the best." Arson reluctantly accepted Brixit's reasoning and decided to go thru with the kangaroo transformation.
Arson prepared himself as Brixit flipped through her spell book. "Hey Brixit," Arson asked nervously. "Will this hurt?" "Hopefully," she said before blasting Arson with an beam from her wand. He fell on the ground and against the wall, before opening his eyes and look at himself. Nothing had changed at all. "Hey what gives?" Brixit told the impatient bunny that it usually took a few seconds for the spell to activate, and with perfect timing, Arson began to feel unusual. "I feel funny Brixit," he said a bit weaker. "Oh good it looks like it's starting," she said with excitement. "You might want this," she added, making a full body mirror poof from nothingness.
Arson observed himself in the mirror and watched as his previously snow white hair became a dark orange. The colorization began to creep down from his hair to the rest of his fur, a briefly disappearing under his headband before re emerging to the bottom of his forehead. The fur also got his ears as the began to shrink. Arson quickly grabbed ahold of his bunny ears and held on tight, trying to keep the long ears long. But it was no use, the transformation was more powerful, and managed to pull the majority of his ears into his head, leaving 2 kangaroo ears. Though they were somewhat long, they were nothing compared to his old ears, which almost reached his shoulders.
"No," Arson cried out whilst tearing up. "My ears. My beautiful ears." "Gee for a bunny who wants to go back to being a human so badly, you sure are torn up about the loss of your bunny ears," Brixit teased. "Shut up," Arson quickly said while wiping the tears from his eyes. "I still want to be a human. I just got a little attached to my ears. That's all." "Got it, I'll turn you into a human with big floppy ears," she replied smugly. Arson scowled.
Suddenly, he began to feel his almost unnoticeable snout expand out, stretching his bandana. His small pink nose began to grow into a large, black, wet nose as his sense of smell increased. The sides of his snout grew thicker and eventually got him some cute whiskers. While the whiskers were almost unseen, the root of them was clearly seen, and they resembled small freckles. On the inside, his tongue began to quickly grow bigger and wetter. It grew faster than his snout, and so Arson had to spit it out and let it hang until the rest of his body could catch up. But catch up it did, allowing him to retract his big meaty tounge into his mouth, while also stretching his bandana to it's limits.
"Aw, look at you," Brixit said cutely. "You still have that bandana on you even though you're just too big for it. Let me help you out of it." Arson backed off and, trying to get used to his new mouth, said "No. Please. You know I don't want anyone seeing my!" But it was too late, Brixit had removed the orange cloth. Arson covered his mouth, not wanting Brixit to see his buck teeth that he was so ashamed of. Then, he felt where they usually were. Uncovering his mouth, Arson looked in the mirror and saw that they had become regular front teeth. "You, you got rid of them," Arson asked Brixit. "Yeah. Kangaroo don't have buck teeth you know." Arson was relieved, before coming to a conclusion as the orange fur rolled down his neck. "Why didn't you get rid of them before," Arson angrily asked. "Because you are, or I suppose were, a bunny. Even if I did get rid of them, they would have grown back by the next day." Arson, again, reluctantly accepted the Braixen's reasoning.
Brixit gave Arson back his bandana and told him to take off his shirt so he could "see something really cool." Arson took off his shirt as instructed and put the bandana around his neck while the changes continued. The fur spread to his chest and then arms, giving them a fair bit of muscle. While he wouldn't be bench pressing 300, he was at least able to pick up Kicks in his arms without breaking a sweat. The colorization reached his wrist before turning his hands into a dark brown as oppose to the dark orange the rest of his body was. Speaking of the rest of his body, as the fur trickle down his spine, it left Arson with a strange tingling sensation. Like water being gently poured down his back, but in a relaxing sense. "So when does the 'really cool' thing start," Arson inquired. Brixit began to count down from 3, and on 1 the bunny (though now mostly kangaroo) felt another strange feeling at the front of his stomach.
He looked down, and to his surprise, his skin had begun to fold itself into the shape of a pouch. "A-ah a pouch," he said in shock, grabbing the sides of it. "Yes of course. All the best kangaroos have pouches," Brixit said. "And it's much bigger than you think. You could put your phone, your wallet, your keys," Brixit continued, pickpocketing Arson and put said items in. "You can even put in..." Brixit trailed off. She put one leg in the pouch, followed by the other right before Arson's very eyes. The Braixen, who was around the same size as Arson, was now laying partially inside him. And yet, she not only fit comfortably, but also seemed weightless. Still the mere fact he had a pouch concerned him.
"Y-you do know only female kangaroos have pouches right," Arson said to the fox in said pouch. "Uh huh!" "And you do know Kicks is gay right?" "I sure do. Yep it's pretty lucky that your the only male kangaroo with a pouch huh?" Arson was confused, but didn't press further as he began feeling a pressure building in his legs. They started pulsating as the muscles began to grow rapidly. His thighs eventually got so big, his pants began to rip. Brixit got out of Arsons pouch and watched as his slacks were slowly ripped apart by his own legs. While the muscles on his upper body were strong, they were absolutely nothing compared to his leg muscles. Arson felt as though he could jump over a house or across a 2 Lane highway with how strong his leg muscles were. But that wasn't the only thing he began to feel.
A strong pressure began to build at his tail bone. Almost instantaneously, his small cottontail had become a huge meaty kangaroo tail. Arson lifted it before slamming it back down to an audible thud. He giggled. He had always wanted a massive tail. As the changes began to slow down, he felt a similar present build in his paws. They too began to grow from respectable bunny paws, to giant kangaroo ones. With each inch gained, the roo would slap his tail down until it was finished growing. And like that, the transformation was complete.
"There," said Brixit. "No I'm sure Kicks will enjoy spending the day with you." "And all I have to do to turn back is snap my fingers right," Arson asked, remembering the earlier agreement. "It's not so simple. You see, I put a little twist on the spell so you and kicks could enjoy yourselves. The first time you snap your fingers, the world around you will turn into the Australian outback that only you and kicks will be in. The NEXT time you snap your fingers, you and him will wake up and everything will be back to normal. But you'll always have the memories." Arson looked at the time. 11:45. "I better get going," he said as he hopped out. "Thank you so much," he shouted as he waved goodbye.
Kicks was at his shop. It had been a slow day, but he didn't mind much. He took a look at the time. 12:15, lunchtime. He had brought some lunch from home and was getting it out from under his desk. Then the bell on his front door rang. Kicks lunch would have to wait. "G'day chum," he said rising his head from the desk. "How can I-" he stopped. There at the front door was a kangaroo with a trench coat, red heart headband, and orange bandana. "Hello Kicks," Arson said with bedroom eyes and a big smile. "A-Arson," Kicks stammered out in disbelief. "Is that really you?" "Yep. You like?" The skunk got out from behind the desk and ran up towards the roo giving him a big hug. "How did you know," asked Kicks with tears being to form. "A little fox told me."
"Hey Arson, I know it isn't really your thing, but would you mind if I could... Measure your p-paws?" "Of course Kicks. I don't mind too much when it's you." The two went over to the measuring chair. Arson sat down while Kicks got on his knees and got out a Brannock Device. The skunk took a look at the measuring device, a look at Arsons roo paw, and back at the device. "Ah screw it," he said before tossing the device away and smothering his face in the massive paw. Arson rubbed both his paws over the skunks face, much to his delight.
This went on for about 10 minutes, with quick 30 second breathers for Kicks before smothering his face in again. Arson then wrapped his paws on the sides of Kicks face, and telling him about the next part of his present. "Just get inside my pouch." "Are you sure it won't hurt you? It looks pretty small," the skunk said nervously. "Trust me, it's fine. Brixit got in earlier," Arson informed Kicks whilst standing up. With his concerns put to rest, Kicks hopped in the newly formed pouch, and much to his astonishment, he fit in there nice and comfy. "Now check this out," Arson said before snapping his fingers.
The store around them began to change. The chair Arson was sitting on morphed into a lone rock. The wooden floor boards became sand in the same shape as the boards, and were easily swept away with a single flick of Arsons paws. The walls began to fade, leaving the two in the middle of the Australian outback. "You wanna go for a ride," asked Arson to Kicks. "Yeah," he answered softly. "Yeah I'd like that a lot." The two hopped away into the dusty desert.
"Happy Birthday Kicks."
