Ralph: Melissa, you're always going to mean the world to me. I love you.
Melissa: It means a lot to me that you said that. I love you too.
Thanks again for the outstanding picture my friend..

Indeed. I've always thought Ralph and Melissa are an underrated cartoon couple (of course I would think that!). I kind of wish there was more art of them together than there actually is. Ah, if only I could draw well, you know I'd have probably drawn more than a few works featuring them together!
You've reminded me I still need to watch that cartoon one of these days. If I only I could find the time!
Well, I think I may have helped add to the number of stories starring Ralph and Melissa I'm 150% certain I've said this before, but the thing I really like about them as a couple is the feeling of...togetherness their relationship has. They have their disagreements every now and then (Ralph loves his job quite a bit more than Melissa does, for example), but they always manage to solve them without resorting to trading insults and trading blows with each other. Quite a fair number of married couples (on TV and real life), I couldn't say the same for them. I remember in one episode Melissa said that she and Ralph were to make their marriage work due to "a little understanding, a little support, and a little compromise from both of us". If more couples handled their marriages like that, we wouldn't have so many divorces in the world. (Then again, I'm aware marriage isn't for everyone. If you're not prepared to make compromises and sacrifices, and handle disagreements maturely, marriage is probably not best for you.) That's probably why in "Beat the Clock" I had Melissa (thanks to Ralph suggesting the idea to her) start writing her own relationship advice column for the Standard (in addition to keeping her position as the photographer). She certainly seems like the type who could help provide advice for those whose relationships need a tune-up!

Let's face it, writing fictional characters having a stable and worthwhile relationship is a LOT easier then having one in reall life. :D
Well there's no rush, Jaroo will always have The Dreamstone on it's site, though it would probably be wise to see the first two-parter of the story first though, or the full opening special.

Like I said, if I can ever find the time (I'm busy doing other things most of the time), I'll give the Dreamstone a watch. That could be a while, though
Very true, as I said, most couples won't be that close. Few people these days seem to be able to handle relationships maturely and their relationships end up coming apart because people just can't resolve their differences. But then again, like I said, that's why I really like Ralph and Melissa as a couple; the "togetherness" feeling of their marriage and the fact they can handle their disagreements in a mature manner (though they-Ralph especially in Sky's the Limit-have their bad moments). You know they won't be splitting apart anytime soon! We need more couples like them.
