I did this a few months ago, but I thought I'd post it here. :)
Well, I finally finished it. This is Pierce the evening before either a mission or a battle. On these evenings, Pierce goes down to the beach to calm down and become focused about the next day's battle or mission and what he must do. He also practices a few movements and spars with himself over how he feels about what his opponent's and his own weaknesses are.
Little does he know that by going to the beach near dusk, his Serene Amulet is regaining charge. It keeps Pierce cool, calm, and collected, no matter how stressful things get, but it does have a limit. Thankfully, Pierce's ritual of going to the beach before big fights or missions coincidentally recharges it when he needs it most.
Pierce does know that his amulet has some sort of power, but he doesn't know what exactly they are. Also, Pierce has no clue what good his next mission will do him, especially this mission. ;)
This was a lot of fun to do. I've been wanting to do this picture for weeks now, and I'm glad it's finally been transplanted to paper. :D A few firsts done in this picture. It was my first real attempt at drawing water, and also drawing something kinda reflected by it. Also a big test on perspective and depth, and I don't think I did too badly. What you guys think?
