This is a joke picture i´ve made some time agon on oekaki about Godzilla giving a lesson to the Fake and pathetic Godzilla from 1999 >XD, i just hope the Godzilla´s fans would find this picture funny ^_^

personally, i consider this, and final wars, kind of insulting. i mean, i'm not saying that the origional 'couldn't' win, but i am saying, it's redicuolous to imply he can win in 5 second. i won't go into my more detailed theory about that movie, cause this is not the place for that. but pplltt GINO is hotter. and i don't see why so many people hate gino, he's been my favorite giant lizard since i can remember, and besides, the origional godzilla started out as a cheap plastic toy stomping on plastic submarines. and why does nobody claim yungani was a godzilla ripoff?
I think part of it's nostalgia. Fat weeaboos in cheeto-stained shirts watching old Godzilla, Kamen Rider, and Spaceship Yamato or whatever it's called and living in the "good old days" of their childhood. They just can't get with the times.
The traditional Godzilla movies are cheesy and, like rabid MST3K fans, some people just severely latch on to that cheesiness. Sure, the US movie sucked - but more because of the tired old formula of "lets throw in some humans and focus on them because no one wants to see a movie about a big lizard, or aliens and predators, or transforming robots by themselves without a human element. (Seriously... AVP without people would have had to have been subtitled.. but seeing them fight without bothering with some human story would have sooooooo rocked. But your average person doesn't want to have to "read" their movies.)
And folks are just upset that GINO was superiorly crafted over the dumb rubber lizard suit. Like how some folks dislike the SW prequel clone trooper armor simply because it's so much more badass than the goofy old stormtrooper armor. GINO is denounced as a "bad imitation" simply because he's a superior re-envisioning.

i completely agree x3. that's why i love to be online, i can find videos, flash, user made stuff that uses what's liked by those of us who are so less considered when someone makes big movies. x3 granted, in 'some' movies teh human element is as entertaining as whatever giant creature or monster plague is going on. x3
and someone could always do teh auto translator thing, x3 just use funky voices for the aliens and predators. x3 or do teh war from one of their point of views. x3 like give the humans freaky alien sounding voices. xD

I like 99 Zilla. He's more...realistic, if you know what I'm saying. Besides I think Zillas' size is wrong in this pic because if he were to stand up stright and not his usual hunched over stance he would be about the same hight (I'm assuming) Think about the bit when he grabs the building after he escaped the military attack. But despite what I said above I do see the comedy of the pic.
