Ya'sameen: are you having fun digging through all my books Afan? You said you would keep an eye on Coffee but your just as bad about messing with my things as she is.
Coffee: look at these freaky plants! What will this stuff do to it?
Ya'sameen: get out of that! Afan make her stop.
Afan: just wait for her to get bored with it, that should only take about five minutes. If you make her leave she'll just come back and start snooping around while you're gone.
Ya'sameen: like when she burnt down the tool shed?
Coffee: I said I was sorry already, how long are y'all gonna hold that over my head? Do you use all this stuff for your baby birth'en business or is it just for your magic plants?
Ya'sameen: if you knew what it was for you wouldn't want to mess with it.
Coffee: can you make a homunculus?
Ya'sameen: A what! why would you ask that?
Afan: well can you?

This is by far one of my top favorite drawings that I've ever done. I had to shrink it considerably to post it here, but don't think I've lost too much of the details. A few of the book titles can't be read and some background shading has been lost but it still looks alright.
As with all my drawings I hope y'all have fun Easter egg hunting because this picture is full of them. I basically crammed this drawing with as many references as I could.
Happy hunting.

Well it is better to know about certain subjects than not to. Coffee has crossed to several different SCP foundations in a few different worlds and stole that shirt from one of their facilities. I doubt Yasmeen would make Coffee a magical evil assistant. She hardly trusts Coffee enough to use her kitchen.
No transmutation of metals and the Phosphor Stone are less of an interest to her than practical plant alchemy. She's more a student of Manfred M. Junius and is isolating compounds that reverse diabetes and regulate hormonal cycles. I found some of his works fascinating. If you turn the lense of organic chemistry on the concepts in these books, they were doing some amazing things without really understanding how they were doing it.
You did your homework drawing this one! The alembic and retort are 100% authentic. I've looked up Manfred M. Junius; several of his books are available on Amazon (he only passed away about 15 years ago). A former girlfriend was an amateur herbalist; she would find his works fascinating, but I've lost contact with her.
My Dad was an organic chemist -- a chemical engineer, in fact. His specialty was synthetic rubber. Some of his work may have prevented the extinction of some species of natural rubber trees.
