This isn't the first time you've drawn them, I think. Almost mistook this for a reupload, but it's definitely brand new. The way you color and outline has changed noticeably enough over the years to make a distinction. I love the smoothness of the colors and even when using more earthy tones your work still stands out fantastically. The expressions make the characters come alive and pop all the more. Nicely done dude!

It’s been a while since I’ve drawn anything at this level and I need to prove to myself that i can still do it.

Oh man! how much better would this cartoon be if this was would Br'er Fox was always featured. You really know how to improve these already attractive hunks.
Maybe he'll force Br'Rabbit to rub his body. XD You never know.
