Taken in my "local" mountains. If you're willing for a short but steep hike, the nearby fire lookout offers an amazing view over the surrounding area. Lush green pine forests and meadows as far as the eye can see. Oh yes, and a nifty lake also.

Sorry, I couldn't tell you what kind of pines those are off the top of my head, despite I've gone up there practically every year since I was a kid. ^_^;;
I do love going to the mountains when I can. They're so peaceful and relaxing to be in. Good place to camp out for a few days. Thanks for the +Fav!
