I went to university in Santa Cruz (Go UCSC Banana Slugs!), and decided to use some lovely redwoods for the background of this icon as a tribute to the beautiful redwoods that NorCal possesses.
Even though I was born and raised in SoCal, a part of my heart will always live up North. <3
