Maji is an extremely relaxed camel, and he spends his days on the beach, surfing. Being so accustomed to the desert, he got sick of staying there for so long, so he decided to leave. And when he found the ocean, it was such a marvel because the most water he's seen before was a small oasis. Upon witnessing the ocean for the first time, he fell in love with it. Thus, his name is Maji, Swahili for "water."

There are a lot of positive traits to Maji, since he is so kind and flexible. However, one of his weaknesses is that he can be a bit stupid. He sometimes feels bad about it, and wants to change it. But becoming smarter makes him less tranquil.
