A lovely, romantic piece I did in Clip Studio Paint, of Nyrel and Derwyn; two hares who grew up as best friends, and fell in love with each other. This was drawn live over the course of three streams at https://www.twitch.tv/thedammitch ! I stream several times a week on regular schedule, several times a week, so be sure to follow so you don't miss anything new!
I drew this piece because there just aren't enough sweet, tender, playful romantic scenes of couples, either in or outside of the furry fandom. Love can be simple and nice, and doesn't have to be lewd or suggestive, as shown here by this gay hare couple. Nyrel is the lighter hare, and his boyfriend, Derwyn, is the darker brown one. While the pair are loosely inspired by the Redwall world of Brian Jacques, they're far from Long Patrol material, being bandits for most of their lives!
