Ingredients
- 200g— All purpose flour
- 3g— Salt
- 4g— Baking Soda
- 200g— Dark chocolate bar (rough chopped)
- 112g— Unsalted butter (melted)
- 200g— Brown Sugar
- 112g— White granulated sugar
- 1 whole egg and 1 yolk
- 6g— Vanilla extract
Method
1. Mix Flour, Salt and Baking Soda; Whisk to combine.
2. In another bowl, Combine both sugars with stand mixer; add in melted butter, once combined add eggs (including yolk) and vanilla extract. Mix on medium until combined.
3. Add in flour mixture to wet mixture till combined.
4. Fold in Chocolate
5. Cover with cling wrap and let rest for 30 minutes in fridge.
6. Preheat oven to 180C, line tray with baking paper and scoop mixture onto tray.
7. For **Large —**bake for 12-15 minutes; for **small--**bake for 8-10 minutes.
7a. Pan Drop (on the cooking rack itself) at 6 minutes, and 2-3 minutes after that
Also from Chris: While *melting* the butter makes all the difference, what the YouTube host does not mention is that you do get more depth when you *brown* the butter further. Taking this extra step is up to you.
