And she sang to the people of Tothmototh;
Hark, hark, I am the instrument of thy salvation,
Sent by thy handsome lord Tothmototh King of Two Worlds,
And I am his queen in Ur, and now I shall be yours in Va.
O people of Ged Athlen, handsome people, wondrous kind,
I sing to you now the shining beauty of your lord,
His noble deeds, his swift wit and his loving-kindness.
With his brandished blade, he cut down ninety nine and nine thousand foes,
In battle, his thundering voice summon the courage of his comrades,
And shaken the spirits of foul Aiu's witless minions.
With his cleverness, he tamed the formidable, wild tenus,
And sent his comrades to ride on them,
Like avenging Veliands carried in the northerly winds.
With his sea of wisdom, he built one, ten and ten thousand cities,
Dotting the world of Ur with brilliant beacons of culture,
As surely as the Sun will rise, his name will be remembered.
But none of these, O wondrous Athlens, will match his shining beauty,
His pale white Athlen fur, silken and lustrous as the petals of varonel,
And his bright eyes were as the twin reflections of Ranil Dawnstar.
Like you, I shall be without my lord - his lone beauty lost forever to this world,
I am a queen without her king - a songstress sent here to save with songs,
O Tothmototh, you are cruel to me, one, so that you are kind to the hundreds and thousands ...
