I think you have a good start with your coloruing, and you just need practice. Your colouring did not turn out terrible, and assuming this was your first time doing it, then you did a very good job as doing the yellow inside the ears and colouring the muzzle are not easy tasks at all. I would just continue to work on learning how to shade and play with different colours until you get more comfortable with adding colour.

In light of this being your first time, then you did an impressive job. What you might want to do for the time being is stick with regular pencils and use coloured pencils to do your colouring so that the process is not so bad.

Also, if you are so inclined, then I would definitely head over to your local public library and check out books on rabbits and other animals which interest you so that you cna look at the live shots and use them to improve your drawings.
