Description from when I made this piece:
I once asked my housemate, Jesse, if he could be any animal, what would he be? He said octopus. They're the only animal to incorporate smell into touch. They can "touch smell" things, if you will.
Jesse was not only my housemate, but a great friend as well. I learned so much from him, and was inspired by his art and his being. A DJ, a film director, a philosopher, an artist, a friend.
Thank you so much, Jesse, for being such an inspiration.
