Does anyone remember this CD-ROM adventure game from 1993-4?
EDIT:
oriole solved this mystery. It was "Spaceship Warlock." Thanks, Oriole!
This is fanart for a game I can barely remember. If this sounds familiar, please proceed, and thanks for indulging my esoteric interests.
I played it once at my cousin's house in 1994, and haven't found it since. This is the storyline as I know it: You, the female protagonist, buy a ticket on a space cruise ship to reach an unknown destination. The ship is hijacked by pirates or whatnot. We didn't get very far on the game- This was the era of MYST, and it was a bit complicated for a group of excitable youths.
Here are the scenes I remember the most:
-If you talked to your alien cabbie in gibberish, he'd respond by widening his eyes and going "What did you say?"
-The space cruiser was vaguely phallic and had an ineffective supply of "small photon torpedoes."
-In one scene, you had to guide the protagonist across a grated gangplank above a factory/foundry floor. We never got past this stage. Sometimes the controls became unavailable, and the guidance computer displayed "sYStEm lOCkoUt!"
It was a CD-ROM game for Macintosh, and probably released in late '93 or early '94. I was going to do this same thing for an old cartoon I couldn't remember or find anywhere, but I ended finding it randomly in a journal post here on FA. It was Pelle Svanslos.
