This song was recorded within about a 5 or 6 hour time.
Equipment used:
a rock band usb microphone
pillow (i used it to cover around the micro phone so I would get no echo)
blankets (I used this also so I would not get any echo)
a 200watt Randall halfstack SC (This amp was discontinued)
a dime washburn guitar
Mixcraft 5.1 (awesome recording program)
All I have to say is. No more shitty Line 150watt amp!!! Wooo! I hated recording with that thing. The effects on it were badass. the metal tone sucked, there was none of the 'vibrating your chest' heavy-ness to it at loud volumes (I have had that thing cranked above 50% and my chest didnt even feel like it was vibrating) My randall however is the total opposite. Awesome heavy tones and a nice clean channel. Only a chorus for a effect and reverb, but I broke the reverb switch on my pedal on accident. But I do not use it anyway.
None the less, I hope you like it.
Total tracks I had to use in this song was 19 different tracks because I had to re-do quite a bit of parts because I messed up or they just didnt sound right.
How long have I played my instruments:
Well, I own a bass guitar and have been playing bass for nearly 4 1/2 years, going on 5. I have recently joined a metal band, there style completely different from my own but here is a link. Our recordings are not as good compared to us playing live https://www.ninjaseattheirnotes.com
I have been playing guitar sense august of 2009 (legitally) Because I used to just mess around and never really got into electric guitar. I have little drum experience but I can still play drums and do cool beats, its not that I suck. I can play From whom the bell tolls by metallica on drums (not not for not, but like 80%). So I guess that is significant to sort of give a representation I do not entirely suck at drums. I do not own a drum kit though.
