It looks really realistic and so nice compared to so many other beaks on fursuits that I've seen. I mean, its a rare thing to see in the first place, but then this looks rockin'.

yeah, I haven't really found any other satisfactory beaks. Well, I guess qarrezel makes a nice one, but that's about it.
I get that it's sort of a difficult thing to do, but mine was really only wire mesh, foamies and paper mache. X3 Pretty painless in the end.
I love the look of birdie suits too. Wish there were more~

Yeah I love bird suits, gryphons in particular. And yeah, Qarrazel does some AMAZING realistic work. Everything she does looks good. lol. I don't really like the taxidermy look for wolves and cats, but damn her beasties/monsters/mythical critters ROCK.

Did you post anywhere with your process for making the beak? One day I plan on tackling fursuit building, and I love to read other people's techniques.

I do actually find qarrezels suits to be lacking in personality sometimes. Her monster stuff is great though. Especially the kirin she did. Oh purr~

And you should totally try some suit making sometime. It's so great.

Oh god I know the kirin is my favorite too!! But I agree, the standard ones don't have much personality. They look like, well... they look like taxidermy. The expressions are very standard and boring. And I say that mostly just with her wolf/fox suits in my mind.

And awesome, I will take a look at that! I have a snowy owl gryphon character that could really use some love and would make a neat suit! But I gotta stay true to my roots. Squirrel suit first! Hehe.

Beautiful work, I'm loving how this suit looks, and like many have said before me that beak is amazing. Will this be a full suit someday?

Well, I actually prefer more costume-like suits. Like Scabrous the dragon. Something more ren-faire-ish. I want to make him some medieval garb (a tunic or something?) and a sword. Tail, gloves and perhaps feet included, obviously. :>
I have all the fur for a fullsuit, but I just loves me some fantasy men. X3
