Another playable race from my setting, which these Patreon Rewards are helping Populate!

This time: the Nightgaunts

Smooth whale-like skin, long slender humanoid bodies, curving horns, leather bat-like wings, and a blank expanse of flesh where one would expect a face to be.

They are shadowless, can control other people's shadows, and create illusions.

What if in my world these were the origin of the story of Peter Pan? A newspaper article with a headline about that and promises of an ongoing investigation: "i just wanted to make them happy!" the defendant claims (probably not the nightgaunt itself).

Because, of course... we're still talking about nightgaunts 😂
