Oh, he's got his eye on the magic bowl of awesome.

That was taken 5-08, so he would have been 11. He's 13 and a half now, but still going and seems to be in good health, so I'm hoping for another year anyway.

What percentage, and what breed, if I may ask?

Wolf X malamute. Supposedly 94%, but the genetics don't assert themselves in a 50/50 fashion. I can say, however, that his behavior is all wolf, to the point where I have to keep him outdoors in a commercial grade pen. He howls and shows very little dog behavior. He is somewhat barrel chested, though, and if you look at his puppy pictures, he's got a very prominent mask as you would find on a mallie.

He is so adorable. I wonder, have you ever attempted sleeping with him? xD

I can get an occasional snuggle, but he usually gets up and moves about 6 feet away and sits back down again. Wolves usually want some personal space. I believe it's an adaptation that is advantageous in the wild. If there's a possibility you might be attacked in the middle of the night, it's probably an advantage to not all be sleeping in a big wuffpile :)

That definitely makes sense! I'd hate to accidentally get whacked in the face with a paw or tail. xD
