Legend of Foxfall lore: Jacob Greyshin was an orphaned silver fox found on the outskirts of Foxfall many years ago after a large storm broke out in the central plains of the world, destroying many homes and seperating many families. Found with this abandoned fox was a strange blade embedded with red jewels and the hilt made out of a strange green alloy. Inscribed in the hilt were the words 'Insect's Bane'. Jacob was adopted in Foxfall by another family of silver foxes and took their last name as his own, since he couldn't remember his real one. Jacob became an older friend and playmate to many of Foxfall's younger characters such as Nickolaus Foxwind, Scarlet Bloomfel, and Raquel Zemnas as he grew up. When he reached the age of 18, he enlisted in Foxfall's soldier program, feeling he owed his life to Foxfall for taking him in. In a short amount of time, Jacob quickly grew in the ranks and was noted for his unique fighting style and leadership qualities, all which seemed to come to him naturally. At 22, he was invited to become a member of the Magistrate Elite, a small group that was basically in charge of keeping the peace in Foxfall and other certain duties. The head of the Elite answered directly to Lady Fara. Refusing this honor was not an option to Jacob, so he glady accepted it, becoming the fifth and youngest member of the Elite presently. He still proudly weilds the strange blade that was found with him as an orphan. He would fight against the encroaching threats from Rodentia and the Legion of the Spider in the coming years.
