Square-Plane?

Just head on... I posted a side view a while back.

Not sure why, but it reminds me of a YouTube I was watching about something called the slip wing. A concept were they took an old hawker hurricane and added a jettisonable extra wing. The idea they could either use the extra wing for self supporting ferry fuel range, or primarily a way to get shorter take off roll, and short time to altitude for faster intercepts of incoming attackers, then they would ditch the wing just just be a normal monocoque fighter configuration.
