Original Species: Red-Horned Parasaur
The Red-Horned Parasaur is one of the boldest herbivores on the continent of Arcadia. Traveling in herds of anywhere between 10 and 25 individuals, the Parasaurs use their bellowing cries to fend off any predator that comes near to them. They bellow usually in twos or threes at once, followed by another set of 2-3 individuals, which allows them to catch their breath. This volley of sonic attacks is enough to repel even such dangerous predators as True Dragons, who'd rather hunt down less vocal prey and thus spare themselves the headache.
However if a Parasaur is caught alone and away from its heard, the deafening bellow may not be enough to fend off a hungry predator.. especially if caught by surprise.
