Once the creature and she had finished off some soup, Maria prepared to travel back out to the first place she had visited, with the many berry bushes. She wasn't afraid now to journey back there and took the empty bucket with her so she'd be able to gather a lot.
It was pleasantly shaded in the area from the hot sun as she started collecting berries from the bushes. She indulged in a few as she picks and enjoying the sweet juicy taste. Every now and then she'd catch a glimpse of the creature moving in the forest around her.
Once she had a decent amount in her bucket she took a large scoop and placed them gently on the grass where saw him next. Glancing up at him with a small smile before returned to refilling her bucket with the berries. The creature watched her and flicked his ear as she smiled at him, this was all a foreign reaction to his presence and he wasn't sure how to react, but he wasn't against receiving these small gestures.
