Here it is, the next chapter Adoption, where Sam finished his final day of being a highschooler, and spends some genuine time with his family before the Meeting is to begin. This took me a while to write, and I felt pretty drained afterword so I may be working on more short story stuff for a bit till this semester of college finishes up. I love the chapter, and I really can't wait for the next one. But I someone might need to talk with Sam about assuming he was being abandoned by his birth mother. I deal with both critters and people in crisis for a living, and a momma stashing a child, human of critter, while mom goes out to get food, supplies ect. happens pretty regularly.
