One of them started following the camera. Kept sliding forwards to investigate it and I had to keep sliding back to keep him in focus. Made for a few cool close-ups, that's for sure.

They hibernate. These cave systems are absolutely perfect for that. Nice 'n' warm 'n' cozy. I once visited this place on an outing when I was a kid. Wild! Absolute total nightmare for anyone with a phobia for snakes though.

Wow..quite the place. For one who has had three snakes as pets, I don't think I would have problem with them. It would be the tiny crawl space I would have issues with! };=)
