i started to experiment with other character points of view with chapeter, which you see morphed into the current formay which you will see in the next post. i know that the proceedures depicted in this and the next chapter aren't accurate, but i was not about to watch 8 hours of ER to try and get it somewhere close to right.

Switching points of view within a story is usually quite tricky - yet i can't complain at this point, for you handled it quite well.
Personally i prefer not to take a character's point of view. I prefer to remain some sort of "ghost" in my stories, not making an actual appearance but giving away thoughts of some of my characters every now and then. For me it is easier this way. You chose to take a more personal approach and that is fine by me.
