I usually at the very least wait til after thanksgiving or December 1st but you go into stores and it's almost always the very day after Halloween they start it. Kinda annoying tbqh. Way too early

I could agree with that - but we don't have Thanksgiving, so Halloween is the last festive barrier between us and Christmas ;p

Well, in the US anyway I generally don't switch into Christmas mode until after the turkey is put away. Usually black friday if I'm home, when we used to go to MWFF when it was pre thanksgiving we could do it after we got back and have a long weekend. But when it went to the week after we had to wait until usually the weekend after we got back since we didn't trust our cats alone with the tree for a week.
