Hey guys! It's been a while since I posted anything. I've been planning on this story for a long time start it from scratch again. Plus it's also been a long time since I wrote something so my grammar is off! >_> So forgive me! Also, I revised the chapter in the description just in case you cant download the folder and at least the grammar is a little bit better. Enjoy!






On the cold winter night in the city of Seattle, Washington in 2240 riots was booming the streets with screaming, shouting and ruthless people marching down in every corner of the city. The citizens caused destruction on every building they saw and made them burn to the ground. And when they see people getting in their way they’ll start attacking and cause more injured people to the hospital.

Aside from the chaos in the streets, there are two mysterious figures covering themselves with a large blanket while holding a small creature in the smaller figure’s arms. As they moved to the dark alleyway to hide from the riot, the taller guided the smaller figure away from the exit. It uncovers itself from the blanket and it turns out to be a male human with a black beard.

“Alright stay here. I’ll try to watch out for rioters.” He walks away and keeps a lookout.

The smaller figure uncovers itself as well and this one is a female human. She is carrying a baby human in her arms as the child is sleeping from the huge commotion from the streets.

“This is awful… people are destroying each other! This is sickening me so badly…” She starts to tear up.

The tall human notices and frowns as he sees her crying and he walks to her. “I know… I know it’s very uneventful what we just saw. We must not give up hope… we have a special mission to deliver as soon as possible.” He hugs her tightly as he tries to comfort her.

She dries up her tears and looks at him as she ends it with a soft smile. “You’re right. I can’t afford to stop and cry about this. We need to find the right person to-.” she interrupted by two strangers standing behind them.

“Hey are you two alright?” a tall male fox appeared as he saw two strangers in the alleyway.

The male human squints softly towards the male fox trying to get a good reading on him. Then he relaxes and walks towards the fox. The human man smiles softly as the male fox is shocked seeing a human in front of him but he calmly stands still in his place.

“Yes sir. Thanks for asking. If you don’t mind, is there a place to stay? My… wife is exhausted and we are carrying our child.” He points towards his wife as she puts her back on the wall comforting her child.

The male fox looks behind the man and sees her being very exhausted and he nods.

“Why yes there is a place you can all stay at!” but suddenly a female iguana beastman appeared behind him.

“Mi amor, who are you talking to? Apúrate a hora! We need to get home.” she says with a rushing tone in a Spanish accent.

“I’m sorry my love but I ran into these people.” the male fox points towards the two couples. “I’m trying to help them to find a safe place to stay.”

The female iguana sees that they are human and she immediately apologizes “Ay,ay perdon! I’m so sorry!”

The human wife walks over to them as the couple chuckled as they accepted her apology. Then the female iguana noticed that the wife was carrying a child. She quickly walks to the wife as she awed to the peaceful human infant.

“Ayy pero que lindo~! Is this your baby?” She smiled and asked.

The wife nods as she giggles “Yes his name is Aiden.”

“Ayy! What a great name! May I hold him?” The female iguana asked.

The wife nods as she hands over Aiden gently to the female iguana. She rocks him softly and chuckles.

The male fox asked “So what are your names?

“Oh my name is… Ash and this is my wife..” the human husband answers nervously but his wife quickly answers on time. “Harmony.. My name is Harmony.” she softly smiles.

The two beast couple gave them a raised eyebrow as they started to be concerned but they rubbed it off. “Well nice to meet you! My name is Andrea, and this is my husband James.”

As they finished introducing themselves they forgot that there’s a chaotic war in the city.

“Anyway, since you're looking for a place to stay. Why not stay with us?” Andrea offered to the human couple.

“Oh my, are you sure Andrea? We didn’t mean to invade your home.” Harmony shyly apologies.

Andrea smiles and softly laughs “No, no! Don’t worry niña, we are compassionate and generous people. We welcome anyone to our home if they need shelter.”

Then she bumps James a bit “Is that right James?”

James nods with a smile “Of course! Please come with us.”

The human couple thought for a moment as they nodded in agreement. “Then it’s settled! Come on, there is a magical teleportation station down this street.” James points ahead.

Then they quickly walked down the sidewalk passing all the people who were panicking from the riots. Then Andrea points out a magical teleporter booth that everyone is in line for. So they got in line like everyone else. In their surroundings, they were police officers guiding citizens and maintaining order but there’s also other officers who were not police. They wear black leather hoodies as they stand around monitoring something but they are around the perimeter of the citizens.

Andrea saw the black hooded figures “Are they The Black Order members? Why are they here??”

James looks at them as well. “I don’t know… but I think the rioters are using magic and they are here to protect us from the catastrophe from the magical powers.”

“Ay dioses… why is this world coming to?” She worries as she holds onto her husband's arm. Then James comforts her and hugs her close.

Then Ash and Harmony overheard the two couples as they looked into each other with a sad look. Then suddenly a huge explosion erupted behind them as everyone screamed and started to run away. James yells out to Ash and Harmony to stay close and move towards the teleport booths then Aiden starts to cry from the loud noise from the explosion. As everyone is panicking towards the teleporters the police officers are pushing everyone back from the teleporter and yelling at them to stay back. Suddenly another huge explosion from behind as a huge chunk of melton rock flying towards the panicked crowd as Ash, Harmony and the others are standing. Everyone saw the flying magma as they screamed in fear, and then Ash and Harmony pulled their hands up slightly but The Black Order members jumped in time as two of the members went towards the incoming magma.

“Barrier Sphere!!” both said as they commanded a magical spell as they summoned a hexagonal-shaped transparent sphere around the molten rock to contain it.

They stopped the incoming magma as everyone was still shouting and screaming. Then one police officer had enough with the panicked people as he pulled his gun out and started to take shots in the air. Making everyone scream and move back. Aiden heard the shots and cried more and more loudly. Harmony noticed Aiden’s stress as she comforted him, hugging him close. Then the police yelled at the people with a loudspeaker telling them to calm down and try to guide them to go back in line but the people angrily shouted at the officers. All they wanted was to leave the city and go home. As the crowd keeps shouting and yelling, Aiden doesn’t like the negative outbursts of the people then suddenly his cry was loud as it echos enough for everyone to hear. But this cry is not agitated or anything but it made everyone quiet and made the atmosphere calmer than before. Ash, Harmony, Andrea, and James noticed this strange phenomenon as they looked at Aiden crying, then slowly over time Aiden stopped crying and remained at peace. From the silence, the members of the Black Order noticed the quietness of the angry crowd as they were amazed by the sight.


One young male hooded member walked up to his squad, “Wow… you guys felt that aura?”

They nodded as the tall male member appeared to be the captain of the squad and spoke up, “Yes I feel intense energy from that crying child. I have a feeling it will have powerful magical energy in the future.”

Another small member spoke up as well, “Captain, are you certain?”

The captain nods slowly, “Mhm… I’m very certain.” Then after that, he turns towards his squad. “Anyway, let's not worry about that now. We need to know where that spell was cast. We’ll split off into two teams, me and Jess will stay here to protect the citizens. Duke and the newbie will find where the spell is coming from.” He ordered his squad as they nodded.

The Captain turned away from them and shouted, “Now scatter!” then all of them vanished.

After a bit, the yelling police officer calmed and spoke into the megaphone. He told the citizens to stay calm and form a line to the magic teleporter booth. Then everyone did as they’re told.

James whispered as they slowly walked towards the teleporter. “Can we address what just happened?”

Everyone shook their heads, “I don’t know what happened but as long as everyone is calm and collected we can all leave to go home.” Andrea said with a confident tone.

Then ten minutes later, the group finally reached the front of the line towards the teleporter. The officer talks to James.

“Where are you heading off sir? Are those three with you?” the tall german shepherd asked James.

“Yes, my wife and our friends are with me. We are going to North Admiral Harbor” James answered calmly with a polite smile as Andrea and the two human couple joined in.

“Ahh, a human couple. I thank the gods who protected you two from this tragic night.” He tips his hat to the couple and he smiles.

“Thank you, officer. We are glad and safe from the riot.” Harmony smiles back as she bows her head towards the german shepherd.

“Alright then. Let me talk to the technician for your location.” The male german shepherd walks towards the technician.

Everyone waited as the officer told them to step forward and go to the platform. As they obeyed and walked up to the platform they locked arms with each other. Then the technician typed the location and the officer waved to them.

“Alright you guys, stay out of the streets until all the riots are dealt with. And be safe!”

Everyone nodded as the technician pressed the button for the teleporter as a big blue magic circle appeared below them as they transformed into white light and burst to the sky. As the white light shots towards their location.

Meanwhile, the white bursting energy landed at the harbor. As they walked out of the booth as the speaker from the booth spoke up.

“Welcome to North Admiral Harbor. Have a great time at North Admiral.”

“Oh, very welcoming.” Harmony giggles softly.

“Yeah, this area in Seattle is very welcoming.” James smiled.

As they walked out of the harbor James said that their home is up the road. It's a five-minute walk towards their house. Then suddenly they heard an explosion as the light formed in the distance in downtown. Everyone watched as they gasped and everyone in the streets saw and walked toward the other side of the street. Harmony and Ash frowned from the sight as they looked away. Then Andrea hugs her husband tightly as he comforts her. Then after a moment, James told everyone to continue up the street towards their home. After five minutes later, they arrived at their home as it was located on top of a small hill. The house is big and white with lots of windows with a pretty front yard. The house is facing towards the city skyline as they have a great view of what’s going on.

Ash and Harmony looked at the beautiful house as they were amazed by the design. Then they arrived at the front door, James rolled his sleeve up a bit as he was wearing a black strap around his furry wrist as he held his arm up in front of him towards the door. Then they heard a soft sharp beep as the door began to unlock. Then they walked inside as the human couple looked at the neat and clean decor as they saw two hybrid children and a female cheetah as they watched cartoons. The female noticed them coming in as she stood up from the couch. Two children are identical fraternal twins. Both their arms are scalie-like and their tail is reptilian-like their mother, but their body and faces are like a fox just like their father. As their eyes are different as the son has green eyes and the daughter has honey brown eyes.

“Oh Mr. and Mrs. Martinez welcome home!”

The children looked and they immediately ran up to their parents and hugged them, “Welcome hooome!”

James laughs as he carries his daughter, “Heey pups! Were you two being good and listening to Ms.Monique?”

“Yes daddy! I was being a good girl but Jason was being bad.” The small hybrid daughter boasts her attitude.

“I was not! You little liar!” Jason shouted at her.

As they argued back and forth as the parents calmed them down. Both Ash and Harmony looked at each other as they laughed softly. After a while, the babysitter headed out of the house as James told her what's been going on. She understood as James paid her for service as she left the house. Harmony holds little Aiden in her arms as she smiles softly down to look at his innocent face sleeping soundly. The two-hybrid children looked at sleeping Aiden as they were awed by how small and fragile he is.

“Alright pups time for bed.” James walked in front of the group as the children frowned.


“Aww but daddy I want to continue to look at Aiden.” The daughter whined.

“I know Daphne sweetheart but it's past your bedtime and good girls need their sleep.” James smiles at her as he picks her up.

“Aww okay daddy…” She feels sad that she has to go to bed and not let her see Aiden longer.

“You too young pup time for bed.” James looks at his son as Jason jolts as he sneaks away. “You think I’m gonna forget about you?” James gives him a stern look at his son.

Jason rubs the side of his furry neck as he laughs nervously, “Haha! I was just kidding!”

James sighs “Mhm yeah. Anyway, come on and say goodnight to Aiden’s parents.”

Jason sighed and nodded as he followed his father to the room as they said goodnight to Ash and Harmony.

Thirty minutes later, all of the parents were at the dining room table drinking coffee and talking, and Aiden was put to sleep in the extra bedroom. Then riots in downtown were still causing stress among the citizens but nothing is too alarming. James feels extremely skeptical of the human couple and tries to figure out what their motives are. They are a kind and loving family and it was a good idea to bring them to their home to get away from the chaos in town. Then he finally breaks the ice.

“I’m sorry to bring this up but… what are your plans after the riots are over?”

The three stopped talking and looked at the male fox. Both Ash and Harmony's eyes were widened from the question as they both looked at each other. But luckily Andrea broke the silence, “Sweetie, this is not the time to ask that type of question in front of our guests.” Andrea says politely.

“Oh I wasn’t being rude at all-” James jolted from being a little embarrassed.

Harmony steps in “Don’t worry you too I was about to talk about that topic.”

James sighs with relief as Ash continued, “Yes we have plans after the riots. Our plan is to take Aiden to my parent's place so they can babysit him for a while. But then the riot started and it delayed our plan. And that’s when we met you two, and we were all very grateful for you two for taking us in.”

“Oh you don’t have to thank us! We are very compassionate people and always help anyone in need. That’s what our Goddess Qhemis wanted us to do.” Andrea smiles.


Harmony eyes opened as she heard what she said and she smiled at her softly, “Yes. That is right Andrea. I believe that you all worship the gods?”

“Oh hija religiously! I would've been lost without the gods. But James guided me to the Light when I was at most struggling in my life, and introduced me to the gods of mana.” as she holds James’s hand as they smile at each other.

“That’s good. Always stay close and keep your light burning strong. They are always right by your side.” Ash smiles as he gives his advice to the beast couple.

The beast couple was pleased to hear it as the both of them were concerned about what's going on. They felt something was incredibly off but the two of them didn’t dwell on it. After a while, the grown-ups stopped talking and started to hit the sack. Andrea guided the two human couples to the extra room where Aiden is located. Aiden is still sleeping peacefully in the crib that the beast couple had for Jason when he was an infant. As Andrea bid them good night as she closed the door softly than the two human couples went to the crib and they comforted Aiden.



Ash smiled softly towards Aiden then quickly loosened his expression to a stern look, “Are they still there?”

Harmony closes her eyes then senses her surroundings with her unknown ability. As she sees no one eavesdropping on them.

“No, we're good. Ast-” Harmony was going to ask him but quickly stopped by Ash.

“Don’t worry. I know that we don’t have enough time here.” Ash’s sad tone as he looks at Aiden.

Harmony looks at him as she feels the same way as he is, “I know… it's so hard to leave him here on Ethra but we have no choice. We must follow ‘His’ plan.”

“I know… I know. But I don't want him to deal with the world’s corruption. Our… little light.” He rubs his hand on Aiden’s soft warm cheek.

Harmony placed her hand on his shoulders, “I’ve got an idea. How about you stay here with him? So you can guide and teach him.”

Ash looked at Harmony as he was shocked to hear of the offer, “But what about those two? I don’t want to ruin his plan on Aiden’s fate.”

“Don’t worry, let me handle it. He won’t be upset about it. He’ll be happier about it. So stay here with him and protect him, okay?” Harmony steps back as Ash observe what she’ll be doing.

“Now, since we found a righteous family for Aiden. And we shall bless them for their well-being.” She snapped her finger as the room transformed as making the room perfectly permanent for Aiden.

“What about the Martinez’s?” Ash asked.

“Don’t worry. I’ve rewritten their memories, making them think that they adopted Aiden.” Harmony answered. As she walks into the middle of the room. “Anyway, time for me to go. Oh! You can give that form now.”

“Oh, that’s right. I almost forgot.” Then a light aura surrounds him as it disappears slowly he transforms himself from being human to a tall masculine with knight-like armor around him, and with a long white apron-like cloth with a black symbol on his chest. As he opens his eyes slowly the color of his eyes is red like rubies but with a fierce look on his face. “Anyway, I’ll stay here with Aiden until the time comes when he is mature. I will guide and protect him with my life!”

Harmony smiled and chuckled a bit, “That’s what I like to hear. And He will be very grateful for that as well,” she turns away from him, “Farewell. Take care.” Then she disappears into the white light.

“Take care… sis.” Ash smiled softly. Then he looks at Aiden as he places his hand on his cheek. “I will be here with you by yourself no matter what. I’ll give you my most sovereign promise that I will keep you safe and love you.” Then he slowly transforms into light particles and disappears.
