this is my commission for 
Mnementh of a friend of is. I hope you like it! It was the first time I ever did anything with a cockateil and also I was just messing around with a texture for the BG. I like how they came out :)
I did the sketch on paper, scanned it, then inked it in SAI(for some reason tho the brush tool in my SAI stopped working -_- so I have been using the pen tool but doesn't give the effect I like. Anyway coloured mainly in Photoshop CS3 and touched up in Corel Painter 11.

Thank you very much! I had fun with this picture tho the cockateil looks a little funny because it doesn't have thick dark lines like the dragoness but I am still pleased with how they both came out. I love how I managed to get a mottled effect on the feathers on the bird's chest :D

hey no problem and I am sure it was a gift to you from Mnem~~~ (can't remember how it is spelled XD That red dragon there XD) so you can use it for your desktop all you want XD if he hasn't I could email you the larger one if you would like :) just note me with the email you would like me to send it to :D
