The economic devastation of the stock wars lead to the collapse of most major currencies worldwide, following the cyber-attacks nations inflicted against eachother; targeting trade, finance and banking. Arno Industries was founded shortly before the collapse, and began buying out the competition and expanding into many different sectors; including energy, oil, weapons, technology, and manufacturing.


They were also instrumental in implementing the ‘Credit’ as the new single world currency, made easier by the fact they now owned the vast majority of major conglomerates and their subsidiaries around the globe. Laws that prevented monopolies were either repealed or circumvented through ‘special arrangements’ by the world's respective governments, in light of the fact they were instrumental in restoring order from the chaos that followed the stock wars.


By 2055, they were the wealthiest company in history, and were the supplier for most, if not all global markets through their many holdings and subsidiaries. The technological renaissance of the 2050s is owed almost entirely to Arno Industries and the self-funded research and development of their own sectors, much to the gratitudes of the many nations that owned their newfound stability to their hand in the rebuilding and restructuring of the global economy.
