Preacher fox on his last leg is having a religious breakdown, bursts into the classroom and starts ranting. Latches onto Rose (Lion kid) cause there's something strange about her, she doesn't know/accept it yet. She has some ability to talk to the dead (based on a ton of Radical Face songs) along with others in her family. What the preacher says sticks with her, and a long time from this incident she accepts its all true.

Rose is school friends with Pat (melanistic deer character) and later goes on to have a wildly complicated relationship with them.
