Brought my trusty Calandena with me to BurningMan with the intent of sewing some additional furry sides for my shade Tensegrity. Sides weren't needed, and the evil alkali dust made me hesitant to use the machine at all. Instead, I sewed some towels, in the middle of a desert. Always bring a towel!

Not to worry. It remained hidden in a bag the entire time. I had no intention. Of adding it to the burn pile with all the other alkalai killed items from our camp :D

I am designing my art bike atm. Going for a kinetic sculpture instead of a car. Living so close makes it a lot easier :) You totally should go! Was memos there this year?

BurningMan is a singularily unique experience. I highly reccomend, though it isn't for the faint of heart :)
