The Grantiberon is a massive species of armored shark that prowls the shorelines of every major landmass of the world in search of prey. This mega-predator prefers to hunt on large pinnipeds, such as the Titan Seal and Goliath Seal. Its armored body evolved as a response to the toughness of its prey as well as a form of defense against larger oceanic predators.

The preferred hunting tactic of the Grantiberon is to ram its target at full speed in order to stun it and follow up with a massive bite so that the prey bleeds out. Attacks on humans are rare, though not unheard of.
