Used to go out to the UVM farm in high school to draw critters. Good times. :)
I can't do well with distractions... the tv would kill all artistic urges for me. Well, it'd probably just plain kill my mind. Kudos to you for being able to draw through such distraction. :D

For some reason, I have always been able to tune the TV out when I draw - I think just the sound of people's voices and things going on has always been a comforting background noise to me. ^^;
