All in a days fun
Took time to do some target shooting today with
s0c0m_3 that was waaaayyyyy overdue. I was shaking enough to throw off my aim to distraction.
The handguns I used were on top, East German Makarov in 9MM Mak, below that is a Yugoslavian TT-9 in 9MM,ment for the civilian market, based on the Soviet TT-33 Tokarev, but with a larger grip.
The other is a Military issue Yugo M57 Tokarev in 7.62X25MM.
The Targets were provided a long time ago by
marmelmm and provided great incentive for accuracy.

That stuff dates to maybe 8-10 years old, the Bottle necked 7.62X25 round you see loose dates to the mid-50s and performed fine.
Most ammo if stored properly can safely be fired after decades of storage. I've shot ammo that was made in 1905 out of one of my Mausers.

one 9MM version that was converted from .30 mauser, each time it was fired, the box magazine staggered the ammo, causing jams. Traded it towards a 1898 Krag rifle.
a .30 that shed springs and locking lugs like a fashion victim changes clothes, ended up trading it for a AR-15.
And a beater that was best described as a smoothbore rust bucket I bought for $80 and sold at a Sci Fi con for $200 as a fancy prop.
